What warranty does Casely provide?
Casely, Inc. (“Casely”) warrants that products purchased from getcasely.com will be free from defects in manufacturing, materials, and workmanship under normal use and service for the duration of the Warranty Period. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
For the full legal terms of our warranty, please refer to Section 10 of our Terms of Sale. In the event of any conflict between this FAQ and the Terms of Sale, the Terms of Sale will control.
How long does the warranty last?
The warranty lasts for one (1) year from the original date of purchase from getcasely.com. This applies to all Casely product collections.
If we repair or replace your product under warranty, the replacement or repaired product is covered only for the remainder of your original Warranty Period — the period does not restart.
Who is covered by the warranty?
The warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the product from getcasely.com. It does not extend to any subsequent owner or transferee of the product.
What is NOT covered by the warranty?
The warranty does not cover damage due to:
- Transportation or storage
- Improper use or failure to follow product instructions
- Normal wear and tear
- Cosmetic damage (such as scratches, dents, or broken plastic), unless caused by a defect in manufacturing, materials, or workmanship
- Excess moisture, insects, power surges, or connection to improper voltage
- Unauthorized repair, alteration, or modification
- Loss of or damage to stored data
- Use with non-Casely products
- Inadequate packing or shipping procedures
- Products requiring modification to operate in a country other than the one for which they were designed
- External causes such as accidents, abuse, fire, lightning, earthquake, or other events beyond our reasonable control
What will Casely do if my product is defective?
If your product has a covered defect during the Warranty Period, we will, at our sole discretion, repair or replace the product (or the defective part) free of charge using new or refurbished replacement parts or products of the same or similar style, depending on availability. “Refurbished” means a product or part that has been substantially returned to its original specifications.
We will make every effort to replace Limited Edition, Specialty, or discontinued products, but we cannot guarantee their availability. If an identical replacement is not available, we will replace it with an equivalent model. Replacement with the same color cannot be guaranteed.
We will also pay for shipping and handling to return the repaired or replacement product to you.
How do I submit a warranty claim?
You can submit a warranty claim by emailing us at help@getcasely.com. Claims must be submitted no later than sixty (60) days after the expiration of your Warranty Period.
We may ask you to send us a photograph of your product to validate the claim, and in some cases, we may ask you to return the product to us for inspection. Casely reserves the right to charge a shipping and handling fee in connection with the evaluation and fulfillment of any warranty claim.
Are there any limitations I should know about?
- Repair and replacement as described above are your sole and exclusive remedies under this warranty.
- Our total liability (including the liability of our distributors and suppliers) will not exceed the amount you actually paid for the defective product.
- We are not liable for any consequential, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive damages.
- We are not liable for any damage to your electronic devices or other personal property contained inside or outside our products (including laptops, smartphones, and other handheld devices) or any loss of data on those devices.
- Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
What if I have a dispute about my warranty claim?
If you believe we have not met our obligations under this warranty, please refer to the dispute resolution procedures in our Terms of Sale.
