March Charity Partner – Equality Now

At Casely, we give back to the communities our customers live in. As part of our #EveryCaseCounts initiative, we highlight a different charity that our customers nominate each month. This work allows us to raise awareness for charities that are important to our customers, supporting communities across the globe and addressing social needs as they come up in real-time. 

This month, we're raising awareness for Equality Now. Equality Now works to create equality that endures for girls and women using the power of the law. 

A group of innovative feminists founded the organization back in 1992. These individuals recognized the fundamental infringement to gender equality that many sex-discriminatory laws of the time were and worked to show how damaging they could be. 

Since its formation, Equality Now has fought to identify countless damaging laws, and almost 55% of the discriminatory laws that Equality Now has highlighted since 1999 have been either partially or fully reformed. 

At Casely, we want to recognize the essential work done by Equality Now in driving true gender equality.
