Casely is reannouncing a voluntary recall in partnership with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). This page will help determine if your Casely product is recalled. To check, please go to "Is My Product Recalled?" below.

Casely Inc., in collaboration with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), is reannouncing a voluntary recall of Casely Power Pods, Model Number E33A, because the lithium-ion battery can overheat and catch fire, posing a risk of serious injury from a burn or fire hazard. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled power pods and follow the instructions below to receive a free replacement.

The units were sold online at getcasely.com, Amazon.com and other ecommerce websites from March 2022 through September 2024.  Our records indicate that you may have purchased a Power Pod covered by this recall.

If you own a qualifying Power Pod, please stop using it immediately. Follow the instructions below to request a free replacement and dispose of your current Power Pod battery pack according to your local lithium-ion battery disposal guidelines.

Submit a claim

Once you’ve lodged your claim above, please dispose of your current Power Pod in accordance with your local regulations for lithium-ion batteries. Improper disposal can lead to environmental hazards or safety risks.

Do not throw this recalled lithium-ion battery or device in the trash, in the general recycling stream (e.g., street-level or curbside recycling bins), or in used battery recycling boxes found at various retail and home improvement stores. Recalled lithium-ion batteries must be disposed of differently than other batteries, because they present a greater risk of fire. Your municipal household hazardous waste (HHW) collection center may accept this recalled lithium-ion battery or device for disposal. Before taking your battery or device to a HHW collection center, contact them ahead of time and ask whether they accept recalled lithium-ion batteries. If they don’t, contact your municipality for further guidance.
