Getting your next phone case from Casely means more than just style points. It also means you are helping a good cause! That's right, every month, Casely partners with a reputable charity that makes a difference.
In the spirit of full transparency, we have started a blog about each charity so you can learn more about where your money is going.
This September marks the 20th anniversary of the tragic events of 9/11. Casely has partnered with the Bob Woodruff Foundation — an organization that provides support to military veterans who helped keep our country safe.
Let's explore everything this amazing veterans support organization does:

🇺🇸🇺🇸Positive Returns🇺🇸🇺🇸

About 20% of veterans returning home since 9/11 are from suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). And hundreds of thousands more experience other hidden illnesses, like Traumatic Brain Injuries.

The Bob Woodruff Foundation partners with non-profits to support innovative programs that reintegrate veterans back into society. Through their Charitable Investments program, they find only the best programs tailored to the specific needs of 21st Century veterans.

The Foundation seeks out ways to establish long-term benefits and sustainable change. From supporting small businesses that hire veterans, creating open pathways for children of wounded warriors, and investing in medical research. Everything they do seeks to improve military life back on American soil.

So, Who's Bob?

Bob Woodruff is a Peabody Award-winning journalist who experienced a grave injury while reporting in Iraq during 2006. An IED exploded near him while filming, and he suffered intense brain damage. But after a 36-day medical coma, Bob began to come around and was back from the brink within a year.

After this life-changing moment, Bob knew he had to support the men and women who put themselves in this much danger every single day. Once he recovered, Bob and his wife Lee dedicated themselves to developing a foundation to support others wounded in the war.

🎖️Through years of hard work with the Foundation, Bob was awarded the Outstanding Civilian Service Award in 2014 to honor his contributions to American heroes. 🎖️

Give Back

Part of the American Dream is knowing we are safe on our own soil. This privilege is taken for granted and often overlooked due to the constant work of our military. This month, give back to those that keep us safe.

Most of us cannot even fathom wearing body armor or throwing ourselves into dangerous situations. Despite these brave risks, over one million veterans live in poverty. Let's work together to change that statistic.

Casely is proud to donate to a charity we believe in. Won't you help us create change in a community that gives us peace of mind every day?
