5 Fall Date Ideas to Warm Up Those Crisp Autumn Days

Picking fruit is one of the coziest and cutest date ideas out there, especially in the fall. It's around this time of year when apples, pears, and pumpkins all come into season, perfect for the picking. 

There are numerous orchards and farms that allow you to pick fruit for a small fee. You can then go home and bake some of your favorite treats or use them for something else entirely (more on this further down).

2. Go to Local Markets or Festivals

The fall is packed with markets, festivals, and all kinds of occasions for you to enjoy. These are all encouraged by the fact that numerous holidays occur in the fall, so celebration is in the air. 

Get involved by attending one of your local food or gift markets. They're an adorable way to spend the day, and you might come home with some pretty exciting purchases.

3. Carve and Decorate Pumpkins

Remember how we said the fruit you pick isn't just for baking? Well, this is what we were talking about. 

Halloween is right in the middle of the fall, and carving pumpkins is a hallowed tradition. Coming up with different designs and executing them is both exciting and great for bonding. Make a joint design for extra cute points. 

4. Have a Cosy Puzzle/Movie Night

The weather isn't the best in the fall, but that doesn't mean you have to be holed up indoors with nothing to do. It's the perfect opportunity to light a candle and enjoy some wholesome fun with a cute movie or a fun puzzle, or both.

We know we just spoke about how the weather isn't that great in the fall, but it isn't terrible, and the outdoors can be beautiful during this time of year. The combination of red, yellow, and orange leaves as the season changes looks incredible, and if you're an avid camper, you can get a front-row seat for all of it.
